Dr. Francisca Montedonico Godoy
Registered psychologist (Clinical scope)
I am a Clinical Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience practicing with children (0 to 12 years old) and their families. I work from a relational psychodynamic approach drawing also from systemic and attachment theory. I have experience working in the private and public mental health service, with a wide range of presentations. Families usually consult with concerns about their children’s behaviour or other emotional difficulties. They may also seek help when facing significant life challenges (e.g. pregnancy, separation, grief and loss).
I use a collaborative approach working in individual psychotherapy with the child, involving also their parents in the treatment as the first and most important agents for change. I use a range of individual, dyadic and family modalities: psychotherapy, sandtray therapy and Theraplay among others. My aim is to promote children´s emotional wellbeing facilitating secure attachments with their significant people.I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and psychotherapists.

Agnès Desombiaux Sigley
Arts Therapist, AThR, ANZACATA; Psychotherapist, PBANZ (interim); Family Therapy, NZAFT (Clinical); Waka Oranga (associate); Supervision.
I was educated in France, in French and European philosophical and analytical traditions. This forms the background to my approach to psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have qualifications and experience (over 15 years) in psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychosomatic integration, multimodal expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, integrative gestalt and dream work.
Over the years, after a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science, I have developed an integrative approach to working alongside individuals by creating a trusting relationship that respects their spiritual, physical, social, creative, and cognitive facets. I welcome the work with children, adolescents, adults and families from all cultures, ethnicities, genders and identities.
A warm and intuitive person, I address issues holistically, respecting individual needs and pace, helping explore emotions, thoughts, and beliefs in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment. The creative process can facilitate access to sensations, memories, or images that might be difficult to reach with the analytic mind. Sometimes words are not enough or are too limited to express our inner world. A published author, I present my research (in Arts therapy) at international conferences; as an artist (photographer), I participate in group art exhibitions. New Zealand Aotearoa has been my home for 30 years.

Dr Renske van den Brink
MBChB, DipObs, FPC, FRNZCGP, DipCouns, MNZAC, PGDipMindBody Healthcare, Accredited Balint Leader & Trainer
Renske is a Psychosynthesis trained Counsellor (since 2002) with a background as a Medical Doctor (graduated 1990). She works with people experiencing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues and negotiating life crisis. As a result of her medical background, Renske has an interest in the possible connections between physical symptoms and the person’s story.
“Exploring the meaning of our symptoms can be a helpful way to give a voice to our vulnerability, with a view to making positive change in our lives. Although there is seldom a ‘single cause’ for illness, exploring the connection between the mind and the body can be the one part that we can usefully do something about.”
Renske also supervises Doctors and other health professionals, and she leads several regular Balint Supervision groups. She is a BSANZ (Balint Society of Australia and New Zealand) accredited Balint Group leader & trainer.

Luke Oram
Registered Psychotherapist (PBANZ), BA Psych., GradDipHSC, MPsychotherapy
My clinical experience involves working with a wide range of issues in a
public health setting as well as in a prison population. I’ve also been
involved in leading men’s groups for over 10 years.
Having spent decades in a former life working as a musician and writer, I
think of therapy as a highly creative act. I imagine the therapist as a
worker in story, metaphor, and imagination. This idea informs my approach
to the work, as well as the environment I try to create.
While therapy is an open space to discuss anything, I’m particularly
interested in archetypal psychology, dreamwork, and spirituality.

I completed my Masters in Psychology from Barkatullah University (Bhopal, India) and did an MPhil in Clinical Psychology from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (Bengaluru, India). I got trained in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy during the last four years of my stay in India at Tara Clinic, Kozhikode and later did the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program (OIPPP) from William Alanson White Institute, New York. Recently I received training in the related field of Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) which is currently accepted as one of the evidence-based treatments for Borderline Personality Disorder. I utilize principles from relational psychoanalysis, mentalization and attachment theory in my practice.
