Francisca Montedonico Godoy
Registered psychologist (Clinical scope)
I am a Clinical Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience practicing with children (0 to 12 years old) and their families. I work from a relational psychodynamic approach drawing also from systemic and attachment theory. I have experience working in the private and public mental health service, with a wide range of presentations. Families usually consult with concerns about their children’s behaviour or other emotional difficulties. They may also seek help when facing significant life challenges (e.g. pregnancy, separation, grief and loss).
I use a collaborative approach working in individual psychotherapy with the child, involving also their parents in the treatment as the first and most important agents for change. I use a range of individual, dyadic and family modalities: psychotherapy, sandtray therapy and Theraplay among others. My aim is to promote children´s emotional wellbeing facilitating secure attachments with their significant people.I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and psychotherapists.

Agnès Desombiaux Sigley
Arts Therapist, AThR, ANZACATA; Psychotherapist, PBANZ (interim); Family Therapy, NZAFT (Clinical); Waka Oranga (associate); Supervision.
I was educated in France, in French and European philosophical and analytical traditions. This forms the background to my approach to psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have qualifications and experience (over 15 years) in psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychosomatic integration, multimodal expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, integrative gestalt and dream work.
Over the years, after a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science, I have developed an integrative approach to working alongside individuals by creating a trusting relationship that respects their spiritual, physical, social, creative, and cognitive facets. I welcome the work with children, adolescents, adults and families from all cultures, ethnicities, genders and identities.
A warm and intuitive person, I address issues holistically, respecting individual needs and pace, helping explore emotions, thoughts, and beliefs in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment. The creative process can facilitate access to sensations, memories, or images that might be difficult to reach with the analytic mind. Sometimes words are not enough or are too limited to express our inner world. A published author, I present my research (in Arts therapy) at international conferences; as an artist (photographer), I participate in group art exhibitions. New Zealand Aotearoa has been my home for 30 years.

ACC therapy, assessments and supervision
Kia ora, I’m a psychotherapist working with individuals (18+) and couples. I offer a safe space in which you can explore your current difficulties. I believe we can get stuck in certain patterns and struggle to find new ways of responding to oneself and others. It may help to explore how early experiences in the family of origin had impacted on our inner life.
Issues that I focus on include anxiety, depression, grief, parenting, relationships, vaginal pain and other sexual difficulties. Therapy Approach In the therapy you and I will engage in a relationship that offers full confidentiality and safety. I believe that talking about our difficulties can help in dealing with them. My practice is informed by psychodynamic (observing what lies behind our thoughts and behaviours) understanding of our psyche. Sometimes our problems feel overwhelming and prevent us from the full engagement in our work and our relationships.
Sometimes our memories stored in our body can result in feeling disengaged from it. Therapy may help you to re-engage with your life, the people around you, your work and your body. I’m originally from Poland and welcome conversations about emigration and feeling uprooted.

Julia Ferry-Parker
Counsellor & Analyst-in-Training
Originally from Brazil, I have been living in Aotearoa New Zealand for over five years. I bring a rich cross-cultural perspective to my work as a Counsellor and Analyst-in-Training, offering sessions in both English and Portuguese to adults from a wide range of cultural and backgrounds. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychoanalysis. I am a Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), an Analyst-in-Training Member of the Centre for Lacanian Analysis of Aotearoa (CLA), and an ACC Sensitive Claims Provider.’
My practice is grounded in Lacanian Psychoanalysis — an approach that understands symptoms not merely as problems to be resolved, but as expressions of something deeper seeking recognition in the psyche.
Through a space of deep listening and free speech, I work with individuals to explore unconscious patterns, desire, and subjectivity, attending carefully to the connections between past and present, between what is spoken and what remains unspoken. With over seven years of clinical experience, I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space for individuals navigating trauma, identity, and the complexities of everyday life. My work is not oriented toward quick solutions, but toward the kind of genuine insight and transformation that unfolds in its own time.
